Its the body language, the tilt of the head, arch of the back, curve of the hip that captures the emotion. Mixing bold burst of color with soft forms, Mary paints figurative pieces in an expressionistic style that combines form and emotion. Best known for her enigmatic faceless figures, Mary's work seeks to capture the intangibles of joy, passion, and the beauty of the human spirit. These paintings have a voice that speaks directly to the soul.

Mary's life like her art pulses with creative energy, and its this same creative energy that continually brings her to the forefront of such high profile projects as Woodstock 99 where Mary was one of the lead artist for the commemorative peace wall, completing over 500 feet of original murals, and the American Kennel Clubs "DOGNY", with one of  the dog sculptures she painted being  chosen by Sotheby's to represent the project on the auction invitation, while another was signed by the cast of "FRIENDS". The summer of 2003 found Mary's art adorning Port-O-Potties as part of Imodium's "Urban relief" project, and Mary herself on the pages of Time Out New York. As a painter, Mary has exhibited her work in galleries from SOHO to Chelsea and California to Cleveland. her work has graced the cover of "Women in Motion" magazine a number of times, and she was a featured artist in "Talent in Motion" magazines summer 2002 edition. Mary's work has been written about and featured in , The Washington Post, Star Ledger. Observer Dispatch, Daily Sentinel, and Time Out NY.
