"I wanted to do a show that reflected the work that I do in the studio in between working on larger paintings and projects.

The result is a mix of experimental pieces - color studies - sketches and the mixed media stuff I love to play around with."

A few of my favorite pieces from the 50 for 50 show

Created for the 20th annual CHAIRity auction at Sculpture Space, this child size chair titled "Just Fun is More Fun" is a whimsical take on a circus theme. Alot of fun and all for a good cause!

One day, 6 bands, a bunch of  wacky independent films and amazing and diverse art- these are the kind of shows that make being an artist even more fun!

What a pleasure to hang my work along side that of Anita Domenico and Victor Lenuzza both incredibly talented and passionate painters.

How to hang and light a show in a theater on the hottest day of the summer...and do it in under 3 hours....

Public Art in central NY

Every summer the tiny village of Clinton NY commissions several artist to paint these awesome Adirondack rockers.

The chairs go on display in the village June 25th.

Public art is one of my favorite things to do. Its a segue from the style of my fine art paintings, but it really is what keeps working as an artist everyday fresh. There's always a new project and a new set of challenges.

I just completed work on 17 illustrations for a children's book. The project spanned the course of a couple of months and was a totally different take on my usual day to day work. It was great fun  bringing the authors vision to life.

The book titled "The Magic Seeds" is available thru the web site below, its a cute story, kind of an urban take on "Jack and the Bean Stalk".
